Performer

Allison performs a wide variety of repertoire in many languages, including Italian, German, French, Latin, Chinese, Czech, and Portuguese. She frequently performs onstage as a soloist, as well as from within small and large ensembles. She enjoys working with composers to premier their works and collaborating with other musicians. Currently, Allison works as a section leader and soprano soloist for Bethlehem United Church of Christ in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

 

Allison is a certified K-12 music teacher in the State of Michigan. She received her certification at the University of Michigan in 2016 after student teaching in two Ann Arbor public schools. She is also a member of the American Choral Directors Association (ADCA) as well as the National Association for Music Educators (NAfME). While pursuing her masters degree, Allison teaches private voice lessons to local high school and University students.

In addition to her performing and teaching work, Allison works as an administrative and educational consultant. She is an active board member for multiple non-profit music organizations. She has also worked with the Rackham Symphony Choir to develop educational outreach tools for their annual Too Hot to Handel performances.
